December 2018

This month is typically busy because of the many activities that we have. However, it is also the month when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We must not lose our focus on Him.

We have the opportunity to look back and contemplate on what God has done in our lives. Definitely, there are reasons to be excited about as we inch forward into the New Year too. We must not fail to take time and “see whether we are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5, NIV).

Are you traveling for the holidays? The prospect of meeting friends and family is exciting. There’s also potential for conflict when the “holiday rush” gets into you and those around you. Make sure to keep your cool and be patient at all times. We specially need “the fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22~23) this time of year.

I’m sure it’s difficult to keep a healthy diet when your favorite dishes are readily available. By all means, enjoy! However, remember that there is a day of reckoning and your body will tell you when it hurts. “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31, NKJV).
